Punchbowl News’ The Conference
Yesterday was one for the books! Congrats to Anna Palmer and the entire Punchbowl News team for their first rendition of ‘The Conference’ – a stellar lineup of lawmaker & industry leading C-suite speakers, policy and thought leadership conversations, multiple meals and opportunities for networking.
From the product & programming integrations to the beautiful space and stage design, down to the details like ‘Punchbowl pink’ flowers and custom designed notepads…every detail felt curated with inspiration, learning and socializing in mind.
A few of my favorite conversations were witnessing the AM, Midday & PM newsletters brought to life through Hon. Hakeem Jeffries and later Speaker Mike Johnson offering drastically differing perspectives on the looming deadline to fund the government, programs on the line, and the impact of DOGE and tariffs on the economy.
After throwing an event with United Airlines in the past, I always love hearing from Scott Kirby on aviation and the policies needed to properly fund, train and protect our FAA workforce and the travelers depending on them.
Beyond the programming, it was a pleasant surprise reconnecting with former clients, colleagues & Punchbowl partners as well as making new friends throughout the day. Looking forward to seeing what this team does next!
